All in all, this post is more a new than a post, but you could give it some use I hope.
Instagram is an app created, for the iOS which is very successful, almost two years ago. They took 18 months for making the compatible for Android systems just a couple of weeks ago. So, I was wondering how they could have such a heavy delay in a system which is in direct competition for the iOS. I strongly believe they could get another extra billion if they would have launch the android version like a year ago because they would have by far more customers to serve.
In any case, Facebook is expecting to go in the stock market in May and this is an interesting acquisition because they are somehow getting rid of the competition before it gets too real.
On Facebook list of the day, they said that they won't break the interaction with other social web pages, and they said that everything in the app will be basically the same. Zuckenberg also said that he is not planning to buy more competitors in the short term, not even in the long one, but Facebook is expected to be worth 100 billion dollars when it enters to the stock market, so I'm guessing he has plenty of money for sparing a billion or two in buying twitter or similar :)
If you wanna get a million dollars out of Facebook, or whoever is interested on buying something digital you should start learning some basic java script and then go into the java environment. Then you can start writing your own apps for Android or iPhone and then expect it to be such a hit that somebody will surely pay a billion. I would suggest to leave behind the dressing games, and maybe just focus on something more interactively useful.
Considering the success of the social media, you might create another instagram like hit or perhaps a video editing software mobile which can compete with iMovie. :) You also may try a simple game angry birds style but with whales or polar bears, you know people love animals and it might come from there :)
Well, we all can dream on that matter, or even better keep learning to program. In this technology driven world the next wonder might come from anyone, and I hope to be the next one, and if not I hope to find him on one of these days, he looks like a generous person :) I want that billion dollars. :)
