Saturday night and I'm here on a computer, but I'm just getting a little bigger on the matters of business.
I just did my business card for the website, and it was and interesting Photoshop experience. The final result greatly pleased me, but I had to make a couple of tries before getting the right resolution and a sharp printing of the image.
As you may know, the screen resolution on most computers is 72 PX per inch which makes the perfect size for appreciating the images on your computer but it falls short on printing. After plenty of tryouts and fails, I found out the perfect resolution is 600 PX per inch, so it delivers a beautiful printed product without any pixelation.
I spent hours looking for a 3D design for the card, but I found out that I needed additional software for creating breathtaking Photoshop text, so I decided to come back to the colorful logo of http://www.playitontheweb.com which wasn't really considered for going over there, but I published here a couple of days ago, and I think the result was ideal.
Now the real issue will be to tweak the http://www.lwebs.com for going with the business card design. That just means it's gonna be a long Sunday, and more likely a long week.
After spending/wasting time in other issues we left behind the design of Lwebs, and now it's coming back to bite us, but well life is what it is and now I just need refresh the page accordingly to the new image we want to project.
I'm open to suggestion about the new design and opinions about this business card. Personally, I believe it's a beautiful design, but well the audience is the customer and I would like to receive some feedback so I can go more confident on the design of the webpage.
I will keep you all updated about the status of Lwebs design, and as usual I'm open to your suggestions and opinions.
By the way, I followed a tutorial for doing the effect on the card logo and some other logos out of tutorial9.net so I suggest you to visit the site explore and learn more about how to use PS and all its tools.
I'm still not the design master, but I'm on my way catching up with the rest :)
Thank you for reading, and saving me another day of housework which is the most important :P
